Broker, consultant settles in Brooklyn Heights

Medium 9e2403697d0617025fbc3b0eac3ab262 Laura S. Amin and her husband, Rajesh R. Amin bought condo unit at 68 Remsen St. Brooklyn from Christian R. Everdell for $840,000 on Sept. 17.

The Everdells paid $790,000 for the property in Sept. 2005.

Mrs. Amin works as an associate broker at Halstead Property, LLC.

Prior to that, she worked as a manager of Client Services at Thomson Financial. She also served as an account manager at StreetFusion. She holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University.

Mr. Amin has been a strategic consultant and investor in television and technology companies.

Prior to that, he served as the vice president in the content and advertising markets division of Tandberg Television. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with bachelor's degrees in economics and engineering.

There are 103 units in the 10-story building at 68 Remsen St. It was constructed in 1928 in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood.
