Biological engineering professor buys in Brooklyn

Medium 07d3dc5d00060480907643c45c1c8231 Dr. Stavroula Sofou bought a one-bath condo at 40 Clinton Street in Brooklyn from Kevin Dennehy for $323,000 on Oct. 14.

The 550-square-foot Unit #150 is part of the 40 Clinton Street development, which was built in 1964 and houses 153 units on 11 floors.

Dr. Sofou is assistant professor of chemical and biological engineering at Polytechnic Institute of NYU.

She received her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, and her master's degree and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
