Art professor buys Park Slope condo

Medium bb7f47c028e98ea53274b689999cb635 Bernadine Heller-Greenman and Richard Greenman bought Unit #46 at 47 Plaza St. West in Park Slope from Naomi Ballon for $950,000 on Nov. 10.

The condo is one of the 43 units in the 16-story condo development at 47 Plaza St. West.

Heller-Greenman is an adjunct professor in the department of art and art history at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She teaches courses in American art, baroque art and European art.

She received her undergraduate degree from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, her M.A. in art history from the University of Miami, and her Ph.D. from Florida State University.

Ballon is consultant at Luxetier.

She previously worked at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where she served in various capacities including senior manager of taxation and director. She also was manager of taxation, special loans consultant and manager of the insurance group at Bank of Montreal.

She attended McGill University and the Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.

According to, there have been 123 condo sales in Park Slope during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $585,000.
