Digital media professor scores Cedar Park 4BD

Glen Muschio bought a four-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 418 S. 49th St. in Cedar Park from Jeremy Lacivita and Szu Ting Yi for $272,011 on Sept. 14.

Lacivita and Yi paid $225,000 for the property in June 2004. The 1,760-square-foot house was built in 1925.

Muschio is a media producer, director and anthropologist who serves as a professor and program director of digital media at the Westphal College of Drexel University, and project director of 3D Colonial Philadelphia.

He previously has worked in the corporate communications, legal, community and educational media production for more than over 20 years.

Lacivita is manager of engineering at Comcast Interactive Media.

Previously, he was a director of interactive development at BroadRelay, a research staffer at the University of Pennsylvania, programmer and analyst at Patron Solutions, and a weblication developer at Weblinc.

He received his B.S. in computer science at Drexel University in 2001.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 85 home sales in Cedar Park in the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $256,850.
