Jaimin Shah bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 1734 Catharine St. in Schuylkill from Glenn J. Mancini for $425,000 on Sept. 8.

The 2,424-square-foot house was built in 1915.

Shah is an associate attorney at RatnerPrestia P.C. where he previously served as summer associate. He focuses his practice on patent procurement, IP strategy and risk management, and IP transactions.

He previously was a legal intern at T. Rowe Price and a board fellow at Biodiesel University. He also was an M.B.A. associate at New Markets Growth Fund and a law clerk at Azrael Gann and Franz LLP. Before attending law school, he worked for Air Products and Chemicals Inc. as a technology transfer associate and production and process engineer.

He received his M.B.A. at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2008, his J.D. at the University of Maryland School of Law in 2008 and his B.S. in chemical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in 2001.
