Dr. Sean Pierre Pickering sold a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 2001 Hamilton St. in Fairmount to Emily Zuber for $293,000 on Oct. 6.

Pickering paid $252,900 for the property in May 2004. The 950-square-foot Unit #1109 was built in 1970 and is part of the Cityview condominium development.

Dr. Pickering is an internist affiliated with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He also is a faculty member at the General Medicine Division of the University of Pennsylvania.

He received his medical degree from the John Hopkins University School of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 105 condo sales in Fairmount during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $260,000.
