Assistant dean acquires Pennsport 3BD

Medium 8b294ce30aa27180018245f8652da003 Larasz A. Moody bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 1024 S. Randolph St. in Pennsport from Michael V. Colaizzo for $266,000 on Oct. 1.

The 1,260-square-foot home was built in 1920.

Moody has been a member of the board development committee of Philly VIP, a provider of pro bono legal services.

She formerly was an assistant judge advocate for the U.S. Air Force.

She received a B.A. and M.A. in psychology and clinical social work from University of Chicago and earned her J.D. at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Prior to entering law school, she worked as a social worker in Chicago Public Schools and with the Illinois Department of Children and Family.

According to, there have been 435 home sales in Pennsport during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $163,000.
