Program manager snags Fairmount 3BD

Medium a45db1887bab1b86053c826cb789012c Alan Mathason and Tzipora Sarah Karin-Esinger bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 752 N. 24th St. in Fairmount from Christopher Parker for $500,000 on Oct. 5.

Parker paid $287,500 for the property in June 2003. The 2,232-square-foot house was built in 1920.

Mathason is a VCP program manager at GE Fanuc Automation, a provider of hardware and software used in automation and embedded computing.

Prior to his current post, he was hardware design engineer for the same company.

He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Miami. He also attended the University of Virginia.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 294 home sales in Fairmount during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $313,500.
