Benjamin H. Field and Viktoriya Torchinsky-Field bought a home at 635 Catharine St. in Wharton from Celeste Barbadoro and Alexander Barbadoro for $430,000 on Nov. 4.

The 2,688-square-foot house was built in 1915.

Mr. Field, a litigation attorney, is an associate at Hoyle, Fickler, Herschel & Mathes LLP. He handles commercial litigation, class action litigation and securities class actions cases, among others.

He received his bachelor's degree, with honors in political science, at Vassar College (1993) and his master's degree at the University of Chicago (1998). He received is law degree from the University of Pennsylvania (2005).

Ms. Torchinsky-Field is a senior counsel at CIGNA Healthcare. She was previously an associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, a law firm.

She finished her A.B. in education at Teachers College of Kiev and her A.B. in economics and applied art at the University of Maryland (1994). She received her law degree from John Marshall Law School.
