Intellectual property lawyer sells historic 2BD

Medium 8fe92f0b71fc72b0ea745c68cecca5f8 Joshua B. Ryan and Renea Ryan sold a two-bedroom, one-bath home at 1625 Waverly St. in Center City West to Lynne McDowell for $362,000 on Sept. 3.

The Ryans paid $335,000 for the property in June 2005.

The 1,018-square-foot house, built in 1750, is in the Rittenhouse-Fitler Historic District.

Mr. Ryan has served as an associate at DLA Piper U.S. LLP, where he focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, patent prosecution, trademark prosecution and copyright prosecution.

He earned his B.S. at Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. at Villanova University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 343 home sales in Center City West during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $365,000.
