Literature assistant professor takes North Central 4BD

Beatrice and Jason Waggaman bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 2007 W. Girard Ave. in North Central from Carlo Cincotta and Erin McKenna for $270,000 on Sept. 14.

Cincotta and McKenna paid $229,000 for the property in July 2003. The 1,920-square-foot house was built in 1915.
Ms. Waggaman is an assistant professor of modern languages and literature in the college of liberal arts and sciences at Villanova University.

She received her Ph.D. in French literature at the University of California - San Diego in 1984 and her master's degree in jurisprudence in international law and her J.D. from the University of Strasbourg School of Law in France in 1973. She received her B.A. in political science from the Institute of Political Science at the University of Strasbourg in 1973. She completed her exchange student fellowship at the Kansas University Graduate School of English and American Literature.
