Diane Burko and Richard L. Ryan sold a townhome at 926 Mountain St. in Wharton to Keith Lockerby and Stella Weiss for $450,000 on Sept. 3.

The 2,880-square-foot house was built in 1960 in the neighborhood of Bella Vista/Southwark.

Burko is a landscape painter and photographer.

She graduated from Skidmore College in 1966 with a double major in art history and painting. She received her M.F.A. in 1969 from the Graduate School of Fine Arts of the University of Pennsylvania.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 383 home sales in Wharton in 2008, with a median sales price of $215,000.
