Frank Joseph Weigand bought a three-story townhome at 104 Ascan Ave. in Queens from Lisa A. Daniel and Deck P. Rees for $1.175 million on Sept. 18.

The 2,572-square-foot house was built in 1935 in Forest Hills.

Mr. Weigand is associate general counsel at HSBC Securities in New York City. He was previously an associate at Davis, Polk & Wardell from 2003 to 2006.

He earned a B.S. in finance and his J.D. from Fordham University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 7,494 sales in Queens in 2008, with median sales price of $435,000.
