Seminary dean-associate pastor grabs Queens home

Medium e7ea9f731a65f21f941c09098e256335 Francesca Fortunato and Enrico Fortunato bought a 1,820-square-foot home at 26 96th St. in Queens from Jeanne Pellizzi and Marion T. Ahearn for $500,000 on Sept. 21.

The 1,820-square-foot house built in 1950 is in the Lindenwood/Howard Beach neighborhood.

Ms. Fortunato is an interfaith minister who serves as dean of The New Seminary in New York and currently serves as an associate pastor of St. John's Independent Catholic Community. Prior to joining the seminary, she was a professional actress and voice-over artist

She graduated from The New Seminary in 2003 and ordained as a priest in the Orthodox-Catholic Church of America in April 2006.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 7,568 home sales in Queens in 2008, with median sales price of $435,000.
