The 1,440-square-foot house was built in 1930 in Glendale.

Mr. Frater works as a technical services librarian at the Metropolitan College of New York. He's also worked with the New York Academy of Medicine.

He received his B.A. in English from Queens College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 7,557 home sales in Queens in 2008, with median sales price of $434,950.
