CUNY adjunct professor scores in Queens Village

Medium 4342fe8803435b6705b41187c4aa4bf4 Shahriar Quadery bought a home at 91-18 217th St. in Queens from Luba Mihalics for $355,000 on Sept. 29.

Mihalics paid $66,726 for the property in May 2004. The 1,136-square-foot house was built in 1920 in the Queens Village neighborhood.

Mr. Quadery has served as an adjunct professor with the City University of New York. Before joining CUNY, he worked as a workflow supervisor of presentations department at Goldman Sachs.

He holds a B.A. in graphic arts production management from New York City College of Technology and an M.S. in publishing from New York University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 7,544 home sales in Queens during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $430,000.
