Former NY State Rep. sells Queens home

Medium 2fc89aa17d0b05904d7eaf57ed9d6a67 Barry Grodenchik and Debra Grodenchik sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 138-47 63rd Ave. in Queens to Lin Lo Tso and Ping Wang for $555,000 on Nov. 23.

The 1,701-square-foot house was built in 1945 in Queensboro Hill.

Grodenchik is the vice president of The Parkside Group, a communications and government relations firm. He previously served as a member of the New York State Assembly, where he represented the 22nd Assembly District in Flushing. Prior to his election to the legislature, he held various senior positions in New York City and the New York State government for nearly two decades, which includes serving in Governor Mario Cuomo's administration and more than a decade at Queens Borough Hall as a top aide to Borough Presidents Claire Shulman and Helen Marshall.

He graduated from Binghamton University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 9,014 home sales in Queens during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $415,000.
