Doctor duo settles in Pepper Pike

Medium 97d71fe7cf49ead62950d64c61ca333a Paul N. Grooff and Elizabeth A. Southworth bought a three-bedroom, three-bath at 2552 Som Center Road in Pepper Pike from Michael and Robin Christian for $875,000 on Oct. 28.

The Christians paid $755,000 for the property in March 2004. The 4,040-square-foot home was built in 2000 in Pepper Pike North. It is located in the Pepper Hills Estates subdivision.

Dr. Grooff specializes in musculoskeletal radiology and magnetic resonance imaging at Cleveland Clinic.

He received a B.A. from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and an M.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He complete his residency in diagnostic radiology and his fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Southworth is a staff physician in the community internal medicine department at Cleveland Clinic.

She received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and her M.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.

According to, there have been 79 home sales in Pepper Pike during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $375,000.
