Business developer unloads Shaker Heights property

Medium 56a6c3183fb07676cbdff7442d1af0f8 Ryan S. Horn, Candice L. Garey and Candice L. Papotto sold a four-bedroom, 1.2-bath home at 18508 Lynton Road in Shaker Heights to Scott M. Welford and Barbara Bedogni for $325,000 on Sept. 18.

Horn and Garey paid $194,000 for the property in Aug. 2008. The 2,099-square-foot home was built in 1925 in the Shaker Heights Country Club neighborhood.

Horn is a business developer at Fortune Acquisitions, an investment firm headquartered in Carmel, Ind.

He previously was an investment banking associate at KeyBanc Capital Markets. Before that, he was a senior institutional investment consultant at Charles Schwab Corporate Services. Earlier, he was a principal at InOvation LLC. He also worked as a portfolio manager and internal wholesaler with The One Group of Bank One.

He received a B.S. in financial management and an M.B.A. in finance from Grove City College and from Cleveland State University, respectively.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 615 home sales in Shaker Heights in 2008, with a median sales price of $144,500.
