There were 16 sales in Garfield Heights for the week ending Dec. 1, according to BlockShopper.

One notable sale in the area was the $80,000 sale of 4869 94th St. Diamond Property Group LLC sold the home to Jevon D. Brand on Nov. 27. The 1,176-square-foot, three-bedroom, one-bath home was built in 1959 and is located in the Garfield Park Northwest neighborhood in the Garfield Parkway subdivision.

Other transactions include the $42,000 sale of 4724 Lawrence Ave. to Beaulah L. Temple and Jerome A. Williams and the $42,000 sale of 5409 135th St. to Michael Tatom.

The Garfield Park Northwest neighborhood had the most sales in the area with six, followed by Garfield Park with five and Garfield Heights South with four.

Sales volume was 54.2 percent lower than the previous week and 46.6 percent lower than the same week in 2012. Garfield Heights has averaged 19 sales per week during the last 12 months.
