Art dealer buys dentist's Carefree 3BD

Medium eb98c799b02dbe766d42ae77d94e9a0a H. Malcolm Grimmer and Lainie Grimmer bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 1816 Eagle Claw Dr. in Carefree from Dr. Elysa P. Daniels and Edward I. Fedoruk for $621,000 on Oct. 9.

The 2,264-square-foot house, which was built in 1973, is located in the West of Cave Creek Road neighborhood.

Mr. Grimmer is a principal at Grimmer Roche, an acquisition and sales management consultancy that specializes in historic American Indian art. He is also a renowned specialist in the arts of the Plains Indian. He first established Morning Star, an art gallery of American Indian Art, in 1984. He formerly worked in the real estate business as an investor.

Mrs. Grimmer is a life coach in Santa Fe working for Creating Clarity LLC.

Dr. Daniels is a dentist in Carefree.

She earned her D.D.S. from the University of Maryland-Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1982.

Mr. Fedoruk is the co-owner of Southface Solar Electric, a Carefree-based solar electric systems designer.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 75 home sales in Carefree during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $523,160.
