He received a bachelor's degree in regional development from the University of Arizona and a bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University. He is working on his master's degree in applied economics at Southern Methodist University.

Mrs. Francis received her bachelor's degree in history from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,928 home sales in Camelback East during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $139,000.
