Pastor lands 6BD in Scottsdale

Medium 46ea91824fb1053c936980eb979b2462 Thomas M. Sharda and his wife, Jennifer, bought a six-bedroom, three-bath home at 7432 E. Cortez St. in Scottsdale from Paul and Sandra Dyksterhouse for $730,000 on Oct. 13.

The 2,306-square-foot house was built in 1974 in the North Scottsdale neighborhood.

Mr. Sharda is an executive pastor at Scottsdale Bible Church. Prior to that, he held leadership roles in program management, process improvement and organizational development.

He holds a bachelor's degree from Calvin College, a bachelor's and master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and an executive management of technology from Case Western Reserve University.

Mr. Dyksterhouse has been the chief technology officer of 360 Enterprises. He was also an associate professor of Software Engineering at the University of Advancing Technology and an executive coach and consultant at Business Excellence Stratgies & Tactics Corps. Prior to that, he was IT program manager at AAA, a technical leader for WoltersKluwer Health at Acxiom and an IT director at UPS and Schwab, among others.

He attended Wheaton College and Grand Rapids Community College.

According to, there have been 3,673 home sales in Scottsdale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $313,500.
