Rex and Susan Kottkamp bought a three-bedroom, five-bath home at 7952 E. Russet Sky Dr. in Scottsdale from Joseph and Joyce Vallone for $505,000 on Oct. 8.

The 2,478-square-foot home was built in 2001 in the North Scottsdale neighborhood.

Mr. Kottkamp is the director of sales at Computer Guidance Corp., a Scottsdale-based provider of construction management software. He previously served as the vice president of sales for Bell Industries, CompuCom and Sarcom.

He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University.

The Kottkamps bought a six-bath home at 15460 E. Telegraph Dr. in Fountain Hills for $424,500 in Dec. 2008.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 3,877 home sales in Scottsdale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $312,500.
