Board member grabs Alhambra 4BD home

Medium 2429e30bf720c95323f390e0f6b543be Debbie Matwijkow and Dave Matwijkow bought a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 307 W. Lamar Road in Alhambra from Nancy J. Swetnam for $1.375 million on Aug. 4.

The Swetnams paid $450,000 for the property in June 2004. The 5,519-square-foot house was built in 2006 in Alhambra. It is located in the Orangewood Manor.

Ms. Matwijkow serves as board member at Special Olympics Arizona, Inc., at The Florence Immigrant Rights and Refugee Project, at Brophy Community Foundation, and as board member and secretary at Anderson Family Foundation. She also serves as vice chair at Saint Paul's Academy. Previously, she has served as counsel at Schaller Anderson, an Aetna Company and as market coordinator at Amerigroup.

She obtained her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and received her B.S. in administration of justice studies from Arizona State University.

According to, there have been 1,214 home sales in Alhambra during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $60,000.
