Real estate investor sells at Ritz-Carlton

Medium 77d366873f9d0befb5ddd479619845e8 Mario J. Palumbo Jr. sold the one-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo Unit #25D at 10 West St. in Battery Park City to Quelinda Holdings Limited for $898,000 on Aug. 31.

Palumbo Jr. paid $1.05 million for the property in Sept. 2007.

Mr. Palumbo, Jr., serves as a partner at Millennium Partners, a New York City real estate investment and development firm. He is responsible for the firm's commercial assets and investments in the luxury fitness business. He joined the firm in 1997.

He holds a J.D. from the Stanford Law School and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He received an undergraduate degree in economics from Princeton University.

There are 114 units in the 38-story Residences at the Ritz-Carlton. It was built in 1903.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 49 condo sales in Battery Park City in 2008, with a median sales price of $750,000.
