Former Lehman Bros. exec. spends $1.3M in Central Harlem

Medium 50fd6307ad200c86ae9d947f9214b176 William Lighten bought condo Unit #12A at 380 Lenox Ave. in Central Harlem from The Lenox Condominium LLC for $1.3 million on Aug. 31.

Unit #12A is part of The Lenox condo development, which was built in 2006 with 77 units on 12 floors.

Lighten has served as a managing partner and global head of the mortgage capital division with Lehman Bros. He also served as chairman and CEO of Lehman Brothers Bank FSB and was a member of the management committee.

He graduated from Yale University with a bachelor's degree in economics.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 56 sales in Central Harlem in 2008, with median sales price of $543,500.
