Investment banking chair pockets $4.9M in Park Imperial

Medium e103acd48b1c8f81223677b94166e59a Mr. Steve D. Oesterle and his wife, Michelle, sold a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath condo at 230 W. 56th St. in Clinton/Hell's Kitchen to Arion International Business Ltd. for $4.9 million on Sept. 3.

The 2,292-square-foot Unit #68A is one of 111 units in the 70-story building at 230 W. 56th St., which is also known as Park Imperial. It was constructed in 1902.

Mr. Oesterle is chairman and CEO at Giuliani Capital Advisors., an investment banking firm in New York City. He is also a partner and managing director at Giuliani Partners.

Before joining Giuliani's team in New York, he served as vice chairman at Ernst & Young. He then joined Giuliani Partners, a management consulting firm, and Giuliani Capital Advisors, which provides businesses financial advice and banking solutions.

He graduated from Alma College in Alma, Mich.

Mrs. Oesterle is a children's choir director at New York City's Marble Collegiate Church and sings with the Juilliard Choral Union. She received her bachelor's degree in music, education and performance from Alma College.

According to, there were 66 sales in Clinton/Hell's Kitchen in 2008, with a median sales price of $804,000.
