Rabbi deals condo on W. 57th St.

Medium 5680d045367079de5103dc6f20746bd2 Diana Manber and her husband, David, sold a one-bedroom, one-bath condo at 333 W. 57th St. in Clinton/Hell's Kitchen to Penelope Manis for $630,000 on Sept. 16.

The Manbers paid $740,000 for the property in March 2007. The 1,190-square-foot Unit #4B is one of 170 units in the seven-story building, which was built in 1940.

Ms. Manber is a rabbi and serves as chairman of the board of directors of the Jewish Women's Caucus at the National Coalition against Domestic Violence. She's also the director of Dayenu, the domestic violence initiative of the New York Board of Rabbis.

She has also served as an interfaith spiritual adviser at the New York City Family Justice Center in Brooklyn.

She graduated from Rutgers and earned a master's degree in Hebrew literature from Hebrew Union College, Jewish Institute of Religion, in Manhattan.

Mr. Manber is a partner at Array Technology Group, a legal technology consulting firm in Manhattan. He graduated from Brooklyn College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 155 condo sales in Clinton/Hell's Kitchen in 2008, with a median sales price of $850,000.
