Concert promoter spends $2.3M in Carnegie Hill

Medium 275897e0b1391d39cc66c5b78ca14075 Ronald Delsener and his wife, Ellin, bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 1050 Fifth Ave. in Carnegie Hill from Jonathan Perkin for $2.3 million on Sept. 22.

Unit #8E is in a cooperative apartment building located at the northeast corner of 86th Street.

Mr. Delsener is a veteran rock concert promoter and has worked with the likes of Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Van Halen. His company, Ron Delsener Presents, is now owned by Clear Channel Communications. He attended NYU.

Mrs. Delsener has worked for Event Associates, a special event management company in NYC.

The development at 1050 Fifth Ave., which was built as a cooperative in 1960, has 90 units on 20 floors.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 75 sales in Carnegie Hill in 2008, with median sales price of $1.2 million.
