Morgan Stanley director deals $1.55M Chelsea condo

Medium 295fdab6168a366c2e95d9e340d93d90 Thomas Jeffrey Barany sold condo Unit #14 at 252 W. 116th St. in Chelsea for $1.55 million to Steelgarden Corp. on Sept. 22.

Barany paid $1,987,500 for the property in Sept. 2005. The building dates back to 1927.

Barany is a managing director at Morgan Stanley in New York City. He previously served as vice president at the Chase Manhattan Corp., a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

He earned his bachelor's degree at Ohio University and a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
