Unit #9C is one of 41 in the 9-story condo development in 150 W. 87th St., which was built in 1914.

Mr. Ahmed is the regional director of operations at Hersha Hospitality, real estate investment trust company which is engaged in the ownership and mid scale limited service hotels operation in the Eastern United States.

Prior to this, he worked as general manager at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Urgo Hotels and Marriott International and front office manager at residence Inn by Marriott Bethesda.

He earned a degree in business administration from the University of Maryland College Park.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 388 condo sales on the Upper West Side during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $775,000.
