Brett Southworth and Lin Yu bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 2162 Broadway on the Upper West Side from Eun Jung Song and Tom C. Lee for $770,000 on Oct. 28.

Song and Lee bought Unit #19E for $810,000 in July 2006. The 1,000-square-foot unit is in the Opera House, a cooperative apartment building located between West 76th Street and West 77th Street. It houses 113 units on 23 floors and was built in 1930.

Mr. Southworth is an associate at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York City. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Columbia University School of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 438 condo sales on the Upper West Side during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $775,000.
