Entertainment co. executive snags Kips Bay 1BD condo

Medium 02b6961429a4252c8a7b6cd171fe6a08 Chet Fenster bought a one-bedroom, one-bath condo at 425 Park Ave. South in Kips Bay from David T. Wong-Fat for $630,000 on Nov. 3.

Wong-Fat paid $685,000 for Unit #16A in April 2007. The 775-square-foot condo is part of the 425 Park Ave. S. condo development, which was built in 1927.

Fenster is a managing partner and the director of content creation at MEC Entertainment.

He previously was the FUSE music network's head of program development. He also worked with ESPN, where he helped launch the network's first original movie, A Season on the Brink. He also is the founder and president of Kinetic Productions and directed and produced the films Crossroads of the Atlantic and the documentary Convention '92.

He received a degree in English from Duke University and a master's degree in communication from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 100 condo sales in Kips Bay during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $523,750.
