Campus director sells $1.525M Upper East Side condo

Medium 5a8d4a200c77687d59d1e674d42be425 Alison M. Byers sold a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 1223 Lexington Ave. on the Upper East Side to Mark Josephson for $1.525 million on Oct. 18.

The property was previously acquired for $1.85 million in December 2005. The 1,300-square-foot Unit #12D is one of the 60 units and was built in 1961.

Byers is assistant director at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University's Psychological Services Center, and an adjunct faculty member. She specializes in juvenile rehabilitation, family violence and trauma treatment.

Previously, she worked in the Department of Psychiatry at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, and at the Suffolk County Juvenile Probation Department in Long Island.

She received her B.A. from Georgetown University and her M.A. in criminology from Cambridge University in England, and received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Long Island University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 312 condo sales on the Upper East Side during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $876,000.
