Aviation advisory services exec sells Lenox Hill condo

Medium 982f26e1058f7216d83b97c90b7355e7 James Sloan Altschul and Naomi Rosamond Fraenkel sold a one-bedroom, one-bath condo at 333 E. 66th St. in Lenox Hill to Sharon Shula for $600,000 on Nov. 3.

The Altschuls paid $625,000 for the property in October 2006. Unit #9H is one of the 191 units in the 14-story condo development at 333 E. 66th St.

Altschul is president of Aviation Advisory Service Inc. in New York.

He also is an independent consultant at Accounting & Compliance International, a regulatory consulting and accounting firm headquartered in New York. He previously served on the corporate advisory board of The Doe Fund Inc. He also was president of K-One Investment Company Inc.

He graduated from Harvard and received his M.B.A. and law degrees from Columbia University.

Fraenkel has been a senior planner and economist for the New York district of the Army Corps of Engineers.

She is a graduate of Barnard and the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia. She received a master's degree in urban planning and public policy from Harvard.

Mr. Altschul previously sold a condo at 333 E. 66th St. for $435,000 in March 2007.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 322 condo sales in Lenox Hill during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.0775 million.
