CUSSW project director leaves The Lester

Medium ea4a91ceb10d47814fc006981240a594 Leona E. Hess sold a condo at Address in 454 St. Nicholas Ave. in Central Harlem for $400,000 on Nov. 16.

The 3,135-square-foot Unit #3N is part of the 454 St. Nicholas Ave. condo development, which also is known as The Lester. It was built in 1950.

Hess is a project director at Columbia University School of Social Work's Social Intervention Group.

She previously was a consultant for two NYC agencies that deliver harm reduction interventions for youth of color. She received her B.S. from George Washington University and her M.S.W. from New York University. She also is enrolled in the doctoral program at Columbia.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 56 condo sales in Central Harlem during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $495,000.
