Software manager scores Times Square condo

Medium 5eb82dcab10b9a11a2f28f87e416b3df Sezgin Yalcin bought a one-bedroom, one-bath condo at 350 W. 42nd St. in Times Square from Chhai Chen Tsai and John William Tsai for $550,000 on Nov. 15.

The Tsais paid $499,000 for the property in June 2006. The 550-square-foot condo, Unit #16H, is part of the Orion condo development, which was built in 2004.

Yalcin is a senior manager and head of the outsourcing development center at Murex NA, a computer software company. Previously, he served the company as a manager of FXO support.

He attended Technische Universitat Wien and Ecole centrale de Paris.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 160 condo sales in Times Square during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $725,500.
