Hospitality consultant leaves Porter House condo

Medium 30b803b717e68420340a1e04c6f34bdc Steven Kamali sold a one-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo at 366 W. 15th St. in Chelsea to Cody Ross for $1.55 million on Nov. 30.

Kamali paid $1.35 million for the property in June 2007. The 1,000-square-foot condo, Unit #2N, is part of the Porter House condo development, which was built in 1930. It is part of the Gansevoort Market Historic District.

Kamali is a hospitality and real estate consultant. He has worked on several restaurants and clubs, including Abe & Arthur's, Artichoke Pizza, Avenue, Tenjune, and Tao. He is a founding partner of The Surf Lodge in Montauk. He is also the founder of Steven Kamali Hospitality, Inc.

He attended Indiana University - Bloomington.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 226 condo sales in Chelsea during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $788,750.
