Ryan and Andrea Secrist sold a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 3625 Palatine Ave. N. in Fremont for $429,000 on Sept. 11.

The 1,280-square-foot house was built in 2004 in the Denny and Hoyts subdivision.

Mr. Secrist is a former vice president at Northwest Capital Appreciation Inc., a Seattle-based private equity firm.

He previously was principal for a regional investment bank, Capital Run. Before that, he was with Intracorp Capital and U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray's Investment Banking Group as associate. Earlier, he worked for KPMG Peat Marwick's Financial Services Group.

A certified public accountant, he received his B.A. from Wesleyan University and his M.B.A. from New York University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 163 home sales in Fremont in 2008, with a median sales price of $433,100.
