Landscape designer, scientist get Ballard 2BD

Medium ebfb6b33a51e0e68d1b335de9f190c3d Brooke Sullivan and Steven Krueger bought a two-bedroom, one-bath home at 121 N.W. 79th St. Ballard from Oliver W. McIntyre and Rosa Maria Cordoba for $335,000 on Sept. 22.

The 950-square-foot home was built in 1913 in the Cloverdale subdivision.

Sullivan is a landscape designer and owner of Back To Nature Design LLC, an environmental consulting and design firm based in Greenwood.

She previously was a landscape designer at ESA Adolfson and was a youth garden coordinator at Seattle P-Patch.

She studied landscape architecture at the University of Washington. She also is a certified arborist and a certified erosion and sediment control lead.

Kreuger is a scientist at Back To Nature Design.

He has worked with several consulting firms, including the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

He has a B.S. in fisheries and wildlife management from Lake Superior State University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 685 sales in Ballard in 2008, with a median sales price of $459,950.
