Orthopedic surgeon buys $2.05M Lake City 5BD

Medium c47b8c5b3e116c541eaabc8d9b7d8504 Dr. Daniel Flugstad and Cheryl Flugstad bought a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 13534 Riviera Place N.E. in Lake City from Robert and Heather Pinkley for $2.05 million on Sept. 28.

The 4,140-square-foot house was built in 2005 in Cedar Park subdivision.

Dr. Flugstad is an orthopedic surgeon at the Swedish Medical Center. He also is the chief of orthopedics at Swedish's First Hill campus.

He has a private orthopedic and musculoskeletal practice at The Polyclinic, an 80-member, multi-specialty medical clinic. He also is a clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Washington's Medical School.

He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. He received his medical degree and completed his internship and residency at the University of Washington Medical School. His other post-graduate training included a fellowship in the orthopedic oncology program at the Harvard School of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 233 home sales in Lake City in 2008, with a median sales price of $354,750.
