Microsoft software architect grabs Redmond 4BD

Medium 50ccb6dbf867a07b49b59dca2642d98a Niklas Gustafsson and Ingegard Robdin bought a four-bedroom, two-bath at 10826 177th Court N.E. from Timothy and Patricia Wudi for $650,000 on Sept. 18.

The Wudis paid $340,000 for the 3,810-square-foot property in Oct. 1993, the same year it was built.

Gustafsson is a principal architect at Microsoft Corp.

Prior to joining Microsoft in May 2002, he worked as vice president of engineering at Xylo Inc., mercata.com and Supercede, where he also held other roles such software engineer and development manager. Earlier in his career, he worked in software engineering at Telesoft and Digital Equipment Corp.

He has an M.S. in computer engineering from the The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

Mr. Wudi is a managing director at Finetooth Consulting, a research-based consulting firm with offices in Washington, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Ohio, Texas and Wisconsin.

He most recently was a member of the Tacoma-headquartered Russell Investment Group. Prior to that, he was chief marketing officer at Saflink Corp. in Kirkland. Earlier in his career, he was chief executive officer of the software development firms Attachstor Corp. and Sound Advantage. He also held executive roles at Captaris and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 748 sales in Redmond during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $460,000.
