Mark Canlis and Anne Marie Canlis sold a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 2509 Nob Hill Ave. N. in Queen Anne to Charles P. Hoppe and Janet Lee for $630,000 on Sept. 18.

The 1,040-square-foot home was built in 1931 in the Colonial Park subdivision.

Mr. Canlis is owner of Canlis Restaurant in Seattle.

He previously worked at the Blue Smoke restaurant in New York. He also served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force.

He is a graduate of Cornell University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 614 sales in Queen Anne in 2008, with a median sales price of $450,000.
