Jinlong Wang and Jiahui D. Wang sold a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 3630 Gallagher Hill Road in Mercer Island to Nianyu Li and Yan Shou for $843,000 on Sept. 18.

The 3,760-square-foot home was built in 2000 in the Fruitland Acres subdivision.

Wang is senior vice president of business development for Starbucks Coffee International at Starbucks Corp. in Seattle.

He previously was president for the company's Greater China operations. Prior to joining Starbucks, he was chairman and president of Shanghai Buddies CVS Co. Ltd. and chairman and chief executive officer of RIM China Consulting Co. Ltd. He also served is a government official at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relationship and Trade of the People's Republic of China.

He also worked as an attorney at Preston Gates & Ellis in Seattle and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York.

He received his B.A. in international economics and trade from the University of International Economics and Trade in Beijing and his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law.

Li worked as a scientist at Amgen, a biotechnology company headquartered in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Li has a Ph.D. from Purdue University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 261 sales in Mercer Island during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $906,000.
