Civil engineer, purchasing assistant settle in Issaquah

Medium aaf26a04f9a5628b1cd3dae858da03b9 Andrew Bastasch and Kristin Brenner bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 2451 N.E. Julep St. in Issaquah from Cassandra H. Kerk for $390,000 on Dec. 22.

Kerk paid $173,239 for the property in Aug. 2007. The 1,890-square-foot home was built in 2003 in the Issaquah Highlands neighborhood.

Bastasch is a civil engineer of roadway design for CH2MHILL, a global provider of engineering, construction, and operations services.

He received a B.S. in civil engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Brenner is a purchasing assistant at Talking Rain Beverage Co. in Preston.

She also is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 314 home sales in Issaquah during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $417,850.
