Aircraft technical specialist sells in Sammamish

Medium 495eee5e6e665ba58ae6c939e20e7e74 Patrick and Shohreh Safarian sold a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 2220 204th Place N.E. in Sammamish to John F. Guest and Nicola M. Davis for $775,000 on Sept. 8.

The Safarians paid $885,000 for the property in August 2005. The 3,850-square-foot home was built in 2001 in Sammamish West. It is located in the Sterlingwood subdivision.

Mr. Safarian is a damage tolerance technical specialist with the Seattle aircraft certification office of the Federal Aviation Administration. He teaches graduate level courses for the University of Washington and Central Washington University.

He previously was a senior specialist engineer with the Boeing Company.

He received a B.S. from Northrop University, an M.S. from California State University at Fullerton, and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of California-Davis. He also holds a doctorate in theology from Northwest Graduate School.

Ms. Safarian is a network security program manager at the Federal Aviation Administration.

She previously was a project manager at Boeing.

She received a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Safarian previously sold his home at 2525 226th Place N.E. in Sammamish for $575,000 in September 2005.

According to, there have been 774 home sales in Sammamish during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $520,000.
