MLB pitcher, foundation founders sell Magnolia 3BD

Medium b5a600d18a823ef5ee0d0b17b0765d36 Jamie Moyer and Karen Moyer have listed for sale a three-bedroom, four-bath home at 2550 40th Ave. W. in Magnolia for $1.75 million.

The 7,100-square-foot house was built in 1933 in the Briar Cliff subdivision. Carol Ard of Windermere Real Estate is the listing agent.

Mr. Moyer is a Major League baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies. He is the oldest active player, having just finished his 24th season, and the winningest pitcher in the major league. He won 16 games in the 2009 season.

He and Ms. Moyer co-founded The Moyer Foundation in 2000 with the mission to provide comfort and support to children enduring a time of profound physical, emotional or financial distress.

Ms. Moyer serves as the foundation's vice president. She also is a board member for numerous health and children's organizations and the owner "Go Legs," an indoor cycling studio in Florida.

She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1987.
