Health club CEO, psychologist sell Mamaroneck Village 5BD for $2M

Medium ad75037b01604064a3f35d49db1b62a7 Marc and Debora Tascher sold a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 803 The Parkway in Mamaroneck Village (Rye Village) to Michael J. and Lori-Jane Gelhard for $2 million on Oct. 5.

The 4,826-square-foot house was built in 1929 in the Mameroneck Village Harbor neighborhood.

Mr. Tascher is the chief executive officer of Altheus Health and Sport in Rye.

He previously was the founder and former chairman and chief executive officer of Town Sports International Inc., the parent company of New York Sports Clubs. He also founded Sports & Fitness Ventures, and was one of the owners of Crunch Fitness Club chain.

He received his bachelor's degree in English literature from the State University of New York - Binghamton and his master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business Administration.

Ms. Tascher is a first program psychologist at Dalton School in New York.

She received her bachelor's degree from State University of New York - Binghamton, her M.A. from Columbia University and Ph.D. from Hofstra University.

According to, there have been 53 home sales in Mamaroneck Village (Rye Village) during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $750,000.
