Alex O. Aliksanyan bought a bought a home at 8 Pebblebrook Way in Mount Pleasant from Linda Finkelstein for $1.114 million on Oct. 14.

Finkelstein paid more than $1.6 million for the property in Sept. 2005. It is part of the Mount Pleasant West neighborhood.

Aliksanyan is chief executive officer at WorldMyWay.com.

He previously was brand manager at Altria and was in charge of brand management and promotion at Nestle.

He received his bachelor's degree and his M.B.A. in physics and marketing from New York University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 131 home sales in Mount Pleasant during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $555,000.
